It's pretty darned difficult to blog about knitting when it feels like you aren't doing much of it! I've been completely distracted (in a good way) for the last 2 weeks, and haven't accomplished much.
Two socks are almost finished, one needs to be grafted and the other is ready for toe decreases. Of course, they don't make a pair, as one's a Grandma's birthday sock (due 11/15), and the other is my February Lace sock, but it's a bit of noticeable progress, and I'll take it. I've got a scarf going as well, Montego Bay from IK in sock yarn that's turning out really nicely, and it's about halfway done - though I'm worried it's going to be a bit too wide, I'm not sure if I'm willing to rip it out to start over two inches narrower. My goal for now is to finish Odessa, which has been languishing ready for its top shaping for at least a month now. That should be do-able by Monday, assuming I actually remember where she's hiding right now.
The weather has been cool and overcast this week, so I haven't been able to take any pictures so far, but it's supposed to be clearer today, so I'll try.
My hold for MDK2 came in at the library yesterday - I don't know who I was kidding, I am totally going to have to just buy this book! I want to make Sk8r for both boys, though at the rate I'm going I should start now and make it to fit them next winter. The slight progress I've made on Dillon's other sweater is pretty ridiculous.
OK, 7am and time to rouse the monsters to get ready for school - wish us a better morning than we had yesterday, ugh!

ok, you've inspired me... i'm going to actually write something in my blog today as well... although the progress i've made recently isn't too exciting either.
however, i'm happy for your 'good distraction' and i still think you're doing great at your knitting!
(btw, we need updated pics of the Montego Bay scarf especially... i'm dying to see it!)
