Sock Stash

I'm not feeling clever enough these days to compose a decent entry, but seeing as it's been a month since my last one, here's some sock yarn pr0n to share - the contents of my "sock yarn dresser".

The top drawer, which holds Socks That Rock, Miss Babs, Araucania, Brooklyn Handspun, Woolarina, and Jitterbug. There's also a skein of Black Bunny Fibers in the pic, but I've since traded that one for some Sunshine Yarns in a great Harry Potter color.












The second drawer, which used to be "the Knit Picks drawer", but is now only *one* of the KP drawers. This one holds Felici, Essential, and Essential Kettle Dyed yarns, and is stuffed full to almost overflowing!

The third drawer, which is the second of the KnitPicks drawers, holds Palette, Memories, Imagination, and 2 skeins of Gloss Lace yarn. Since Md Sheep & Wool, it's also home to a few skeins of Koigu, though those aren't in these pics.












The fourth drawer holds everything else - Yummy, Happy Feet, Online, Trekking, Cascade, Regia Silk, Nurturing Threads, Fibranatura, Magic Stripes, Sassy Stripes, Wullenstudio...













This has got me itching to start a new pair of socks, but for now I'm being a good little girl, and working on the second sock of this pair, the first having been finished yesterday. Just a plain little shortie sock made with Araucania Ranco semi-solid in the Teal Medley color. Nice solid yarn, and feels so comfy. Need to finish the second socks before Sumer Of Socks begins next month!!
