Sweater planning

I've got plans, grand sweater plans. I've got yarn in stash for at least 3 or four for myself, and I'm going to start swatching for the first one today. It's KnitPicks Main Line, in Butter Pecan, and I'm planning to make myself a Mr. Greenjeans cardi from Knitty. I have yet to knit any garments for myself (scarves don't count!), so I'm nervous and excited. I really shouldn't be starting another sweater, when Dillon's is still a UFO, but I cannot help myself. It's not like he's going to wear a wool-blend sweater in the summertime, but I probably would wear a cotton/wool blend cardi in the summer, so there.

This is KP Shine (worsted) in Sailor - I ordered it planning to make a T-Twist summer top, but once the yarn arrived, it was much darker than it showed on-screen. I've emailed KP to see if they would let me exchange it for another color, and am waiting on a reply. I love the feel of this yarn, and think it will work well for the pattern.

Universal Worsted Tweed in a gorgeous purple-blue color that's called Blue Passion. I have no idea what I'm making with this, but it positively called out to me in the store. I have 2 more skeins that aren't in the picture, about 1300 yards total, I think. This yarn is one of my favorite worsted weights.

KnitPicks yet again, Swish Superwash this time, in Truffle, a delicious chocolate brown color. I bought this a few months ago to knit Emerald, and haven't gotten to it yet.

And of course, no sweater post from me would be complete without a picture of the last sweater I started - Dillon's Black Ice hoodie, which as of right now is a hooded vest, just waiting to get its sleeves. This picture was taken the last time I worked on it...which was November.
