Undecided

The Olympics completely snuck up on me - I was thinking it didn't start until the 17th, but silly me, it last 17 days, but starts on the 8th. Ooops. I'm supposed to be doing th Sock Put event for Ravelympics, so I should be casting on socks tomorrow around 8am EST. I have no idea what I'm making. It's supposed to be something that will challenge me, and I want it to be something new, so I was thinking of picking a pattern from New Pathways. Then I looked through my printed patterns, and Arch-Shaped Socks, and Rainbow Socks caught my eye. And when I checked out my Ravelry queue, Pomatomus and Mockery were added to the list of possibilities. I'm not good with making decisions like this. If past lunacy is any future indicator, I will very likely be casting on at least 3 of these choices tomorrow, only to frog one or two, and hopefully finish at least one complete (matching) pair by the time the flame goes out at closing ceremonies. I hope. Because once I actually choose a pattern, then I have to make a choice about the yarn.
