This is my little guy, Lucas. He'll be 6 at Halloween (10/24), and is quite the ham. He was trying on some new "church clothes" last night, and posed for me like this. Lucas started kindergarten a few weeks ago, after years of watching his brother go off to school, learn new things, and make new friends. He was thrilled to finally be "catching up" with Bubby, and got off the bus this afternoon almost disappointed that he still isn't being assigned any homework. He's playing soccer for the second year, and their first game is scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully it won't get rained out like last week's game did!
This is "Bubby" as Lucas refers to him, but the rest of us call him Dillon. He'll be 10 next week, and is thrilled about it. I took this picture back in February on a trip to the Maryland Science Center, which is in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. I have no idea what he's posing with - it had started spitting outside while we were walking back to the train station, but he had to inspect all the sculptures. This is the best of the pics, though. Dillon's in fifth grade, and is finally catching on that reading is fun. We've both gotten hooked on Harry Potter in the last months. He's in his 4th season of soccer, and is not nearly as thrilled about having homework!

no way! 10 years old! These boys need to stop adding years to their age. lol
