I knitted 4 bowls and felted them this week. Three of them from my hand-dyed yarn, and the fourth and ugliest of the batch from some leftover Patons something or other.
First is the Super Bowl Bowl, knit from the Watermelon Swirl yarn that I dyed last month. It turned out nicely, and is the best-shaped bowl of the bunch.
This bowl is one of two that I knitted from the same yarns - two different brands of yarn that I dyed with Black Cherry KA, and they turned out to blend together perfectly. It's very shallow, and pretty sturdy too.
Here's the second one - I started this one from the bottom to use alllll the yarn I could. It turned out way too tall, over 12" prefelting, so once it was felted I cuffed it, and it looks okay I guess.
The fourth bowl is so UGH that I'm not even going to show it. It's off white, brown and sea blue yarns held together, and knitted badly into a bowl.

I'm glad I got to see what you did with the watermelon. Turned out very nicely. I really like the cuffed bowl.
