WIPs on Wednesday, late again

I don't know why I cannot seem to get this posted on Wednesdays, rather that on Thursday mornings. But I needed to take some (newer) pictures of my OTN projects anyway, so here they are.

My Marigold sock - still on the first of the pair, but it's working up so nicely. This is the first time I've knit with STR, and it's lovely. This color is Sunstone in medium weight.

The cute little project bag is a Boxy Bag Pouch from ZigZag Stitches on Etsy. It's wonderfully made, and I'm really enjoying it - so much so that I ordered another one just now when I went to her site to grab that link to paste here. I'm preparing for lots of knitting during Summer of Socks, so I'll be ready now.

Speaking of great Etsy sellers, I also got a little sock knitting bag from Stuck In Illinois recently. Sock Monkeys on the outside, and a yarn fabric (that I'd love to find yardage of!) for the lining. She has another bag in this same fabric combo in stock right now, along with quite a few others that I'm drooling over.

Ok, back to the WIPs - this is the KnitPicks variety blanket. Originally intended to be a wedding gift for my uncle, it's too narrow (IMO) and since I'm too lazy to restart, and don't think some of these yarns will frog well, I'm just leaving it as-is, and will go shopping for Uncle Jim's gift.

And Mr Greenjeans - i don't think I've worked on this since my last WIPs post. The straight stockinette section is giving me vertigo, lol. I do need to pick it back up though, so I can see my adorable ladybug markers.

Wish I could figure out if/how Blogger tracks visitors to my blog - I have no clue if anyone even reads this thing. :)

I don't know if Blogger tracks, but there are lots of freebie stat counters out there - SiteMeter is pretty good.

And you've got at least one reader!

:D

I read it too! :) I like all your sewing and knitting projects! I am just learning how to sew on a singer machine. I sew dresses for my duaghter who is 17 months. It is so fun to make something for my little girl to wear. There is just something really satisfying in that.
