WIPs on Wednesday

Well, a little late. I had great intentions last night to get these posted, but my camera battery had other plans, and as it takes about 5 hours to charge, I went to sleep instead. But better late than never, so here are my current works-in-progress.

The second of Mom's Swirl Socks - I'm on the last row of the heel flap. Pic is of the first sock that I took yesterday.

Mr Greenjeans sweater for me - haven't touched it in about a week, which is ok, it's not like I need a sweater this time of year, but I do want to finish it before summer's over.

The Wedding Blanket for my uncle - his wedding is 6/14, and I started a feather-and-fan blanket from various blues/creams/tans in KnitPicks yarns the other day. I'm about 4 inches into it, and don't have any working pics as yet, so here's what the yarn combo looks like. The contrast of textures is really neat, as I'm using smooth wool, pima cotton, and two different alpaca/wool blends.

I also started a new dishcloth last night, but don't have pics, so you can just see the yarn, which is P&C in Seabreeze. I'm making a DW cloth, just for the heck of it, and realized how spoiled I've become with all the wool I've been knitting with - it makes cotton yarn feel like rope in my hands.
